Start with the frame.

A Reveal module keeps the same visual in place while the text changes what the reader notices.

First, reveal the past.

The black line appears. The reader gets oriented before any future pathway is introduced.

Then reveal one possible future.

The red line appears by itself. For a moment, this is the only future the reader sees.

Then reveal another future.

The blue line appears. The visual changes from a single path into a fork.

Now name the space between them.

The graph is no longer just showing temperature. It is showing the space between possible futures.

Rename the gap.

The same visual stays put, but its meaning changes.

Rename it again.

The audience starts to see that the gap is not only technology or policy. It is our ability to act together.
